Vikram Singh MD

Board Certified Anesthesiologist

Dr. Singh specializes in the evaluation and treatment of injuries and disorders causing pain in the spine as well as other parts of the body. Dr. Singh employs both surgical and non-surgical treatments for patients with herniated discs and spinal stenosis which can result in pain in the neck and back from direct and indirect pressure on nerves in the spinal cord due to a variety of causes.

Dr. Singh's experiences include being an Associate Professor in Anesthesiology at the University of Southern California. He was also an Attending Pediatric Anesthesiologist at Valley Presbyterian Hospital and Attending Cardiac Anesthesiologist at Granada Hills Community Hospital.

He has completed a residency at Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco as well as a residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Chicago Hospital. Dr. Singh completed his Fellowship in Pain Management at the University of Chicago Hospital and a Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship at Los Angeles Children's hospital.

He performs minimally invasive techniques including Endoscopic Microdiscectomy. The concept of minimally invasive spine surgery is to provide surgical options that optimally address the disc pathology without producing the types of morbidity commonly associated with open surgical procedures. Minimally invasive techniques are not, however, a panacea for all lumbar disc pathology. These techniques are designed to treat nerve root compression alone as the source of radiculopathy in patients with acute primary disc herniations.
